Paintball - Too Fun!

Last Saturday morning, 16 of us met together at the UC to go play some Paintball. We went out to a private field a few miles north of the airport. While a few of us had played before, the group had several first time players. After the issuing of equipment and a brief overview of safety rules, it was time to go afield. Play was a bit tentative at first while new players were trying to get a feel for the game. About 30 minutes into the day, the paint really started to fly, and everyone got into it and had a great time! During game play we saw lots of shooting, running, hiding, sneaking around, ambushes, and defensive stands. Just as fun as playing was all the "war stories" told between games. By late afternoon, everyone had two or three battle scars and were ready to celebrate their victories over a big dinner. We drove back to an Oakland and closed out our afternoon with a meal together.
